Writing Wizards

We have been working very hard on our writing.  Many of the SK students are writing their sentences independently, with the help of the word wall and their knowledge of letters and sounds.  A few of our JK students are using the same literacy skills when attempting to write, guided by the teachers. Excellent job boys and girls!

Photo Booth Funnies!

Miss M set up a Happy Birthday photo booth in our classroom in honour of my upcoming birthday. The kids had a hoot playing around with the props.  One of the many reasons why we love our job so much!

Super Scientists!

We have been continuing to conduct science experiments, discussing the steps involved (e.g., question, hypothesis, observations etc.).  In this experiment, students mixed water and baking soda together.  These two ingredients mixed together to create a gas and inflate a balloon!
