Dr. Seuss

In conjunction with our school's production of Seussical Jr., we have been reading lots of different Dr. Seuss books and the students have been invited to complete follow-up activities.

In the following pictures, students made their own "Cat in the Hat" hats, and the JK students printed a letter for each letter of their name.  The SK students printed a different word from the -at family on each strip of paper.

In this game, the students got to try and get a ping pong ball into a cup labelled with a popcorn word. If they could identify the word and got the ping pong ball inside of it, they got to keep the cup for the rest of the game.  The student with the most cups "won"!

In honour of Cat in the Hat day, students were invited to bring in a hat to wear.

We played Pin the Hat on the Cat!

We made glasses for "I Can Read With My Eyes Shut" day.

For "Fox in Socks" Day, students got to wear their funkiest socks!
