Marvellous Mathematician!

I wanted to check the students knowledge of "conservation" so I placed 2 rows of 5 tiles on the carpet.  I put one row close together and the other row spread out.  I asked each student which row had the most, and the only student to tell me that they had the same is pictured below.  Fantastic job! I hope that students use their counting skills to check in the future if they are unsure.
